| Why can I not book direct with the hotel? Connex has special contracts with partner hotels that secure a specific quota of rooms. You cannot book these quotas directly in the hotel. Reservations can only be made with Connex on-line or in writing using the reservation voucher. Will I receive a confirmation of reservation from Connex? You will receive a confirmation of reservation by e-mail, or otherwise by surface mail. Please hand your confirmation of reservation to the reception staff when you arrive at the hotel. How long is the Hotel Cheque/Guest Pass valid for? This is stated in the validity conditions on the Hotel Cheque/Guest Pass. Can I extend my stay? It is possible to extend your stay at the applicable room price and extensions will be indicated in your booking. Can I use the voucher to pay for “extension” nights? This is possible in some hotels. The services offered by each hotel and which can be paid for using the voucher are listed on the internet. You will receive your voucher with your confirmation of reservation. How much is the extension bonus worth? Please ask your hotel management to inform you of the number of extra nights and the value of the extension bonus. If you wish to use the specified extension bonus at the respective hotel, please indicate this when you make your enquiry. The extension bonus cannot be used for booking additional rooms for accompanying persons. Why must I pay 25.50 euros to change my reservation? Changing your reservation causes considerable extra administration (cancelling the booking, extra enquiries, re-sending confirmation of reservation, etc.) The fee of 25.50 euros just covers Connex’s extra costs. Is the Hotel Cheque/Guest Pass forfeited in the event of no-show or cancellation? In principle, it is not possible to cancel a confirmed booking. In the event of a no-show, the Hotel Cheque/Guest Pass shall be forfeited. In the case of a definitive cancellation, Connex loses its entitlement to the agreed capacity in the hotel. This capacity, which was associated with your Hotel Cheque/Guest Pass is no longer available for bookings. Likewise, the Hotel Cheque/Guest Pass is also forfeited if part of your stay is cancelled, e.g. cancellation of already confirmed extra days or accompanying persons. With regard to firm bookings of extra days and accompanying persons, the cancellation conditions of the relevant hotel shall apply. Your Hotel Cheque/Guest Pass shall not be forfeited if you change your booking with the same hotel. Connex will be pleased to make changes to your booking for an administration fee of 25.50 euros. Is it possible to book group holidays using Hotel Cheque/Guest Pass? It is not permitted to use Hotel Cheque/Guest Pass for seminar groups or group holidays according to the contractual agreements with the partner hotels. Can I use two Hotel Cheque/Guest Pass's together and stay for 4 nights? Combining Hotel Cheque/Guest Pass's, i.e. using reservation vouchers for consecutive periods, is not permitted in accordance with the contractual agreements with the partner hotels. |
